Beatrice Joyeux Prunel

Professor of contemporary art history at the Ecole Normale Supérieure in Paris since 2007, she received the qualification to direct research (HDR) in 2015. She teaches art history, with global and quantitative approaches, digital humanities and prepares students for heritage conservation concourses. She is in charge of international relations in the History and Theory of the Arts Department of the ENS. She directs doctoral theses in art history. Her research focuses on the world history of the avant-garde, the visual culture of oil and the digital. Béatrice Joyeux-Prunel has founded and directed the ARTL@S programme since 2009.
