Diego Zorita Arroyo

PhD in Philosophy at the UAM and his MA in Hispanic cultural studies at UW-Madison. He has been a visiting researcher at the universities of Berkeley and Coimbra. He is currently a Margarita Salas postdoctoral researcher. Much of his research has been devoted to the political uses of literature during the last years of Franco’s regime. In his postdoctoral research, she studies how the process of accumulation by dispossession that Franco’s Development Plan entailed was critically reflected in the work of poets such as Aníbal Núñez, Justo Alejo or Manuel Vázquez Montalbán.
