Conference by Julia Ramírez Blanco in Barcelona on January 18th

[:en]In the framework of the course “New Tendencies” in History of Art, teached by Paula Barreiro López, researcher Julia Ramírez Blanco (Juan de la Cierva fellow, Universitat de Barcelona) will give the conference “Utopias of Revolt: Reading activist aesthetics through the lens of the social dream”, Wednesday 18 January, from 1 p.m to 2 p.m.
Location: Aula 304 (3rd floor), Facultad de Geografía e Historia de la Universitat de Barcelona.

Julia Ramírez Blanco is author of the book Utopías artísticas de revuelta. Claremont Road, Reclaim the Streets, la Ciudad de Sol (Cátedra, 2014), which seeks to analyse the aesthetic and utopian dimensions of various forms of community activism.
