Until 4 September 2022, the exhibition “The rules of the game” at the Es Bauldar Museu d’Art Contemporani de Palma. This new audiovisual production of María Ruido explore difficulties, conflicts and contradictions in class and gender as found in work situations in the art and culture sector.
The book Working Dead. Scenarios del Postrabajo will be presented at La Virreina (Barcelona) on 24 October at 7:00 pm. Edited by Marta Echaves, Antonio Gómez Villar and María Ruido, the book proposes to penetrate into the variable geographies of the new composition of work.

In relation to the exhibition L’oeil impératif by artist Maria Ruido, this round table discussion proposes a transversal reflection on the role that the visual regime acquires in colonial and neo-colonial processes, perceived not only from the perspective of economic exploitation or political interventionism, but also as a hierarchy of thought or an epistemological hegemony.
